Progressive Building Inspections, Inc. has been family owned and operated
since 1994. We are located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and serve the north, northwest, and western suburbs. Over 90%
of our business consists of referrals from pleased clients, lawyers, real estate agents and mortgage brokers.
John Kopke is the owner and operator. As our inspector, he has performed over 5,000 inspections. Many of our clients are repeat clients, happy to find John still inspecting as they move on to their second, third or fourth inspections done by John. Before inspecting, John owned a construction company and has experience with residential and commercial construction. John earned his Associates Degree in Construction Technology and his Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. John continues to value education and participates in continuing education for both radon measurement and building inspections in order to stay up to date on the latest information.
